Organisation History
The MORE Community Group Inc was first established in 2003 in response to the imminent disposal of Crown land in the suburb of Melville. Its aim was to preserve the land for use as Public Open Space. The land at the old Melville Primary School site was bought and secured as Public Open Space by The City of Melville. The MORE Community Group Inc was incorporated as a community group in 2006 and further developed its aims and objects to support the creation of a community centre at the Old School Library in the park.
